This will be the second festival of dance tradition, following the success of our festival last October in the beautiful ancient rural village of El Pilar.
The festival highlights the energy and excitement of foot and body percussion as a integral part of music, and aims to bring different cultures together in the sharing of these exciting musical forms. We had some great moments of musical fusion last year, and we expect more of the same in the coming festival!
We will feature music from a Flamenco, Spanish, American, British Isles, European and African traditions, and you’ll have opportunities to join in workshops and social dancing.
Albar restaurant and casona will be a central point of the festivities. Book meals and rooms as much in advance as possible, as this will be a very busy weekend.
