La Fuente presents learning holidays in a beautiful setting
with the world’s finest teachers.
In 2015 and 2016 we offer Old-Time American Music weeks, a Painting and Photography Week and an International Festival of Dance Traditions.
At the music weeks, you can learn to sing and play fiddle, banjo or guitar in traditional American Folk style with some of the world’s finest teachers. This is an ideal opportunity for complete beginners and experienced players alike. In addition to a full tuition program, there is ample opportunity to play freely together, with everyone encouraged to join in. You will also have the opportunity to jam with the teachers and receive one-to-one coaching outside of the daily scheduled classes.

‘I would just like to say again what a great time we both had at La Fuente, I don’t think it could have been any better. The particular things I took home with me, from the tuition, were:-
1) What the music etc should sound like and hence what I should be aiming for.
2) Playing fiddle tunes on banjo is important to me but that there is much more in this music to have a go at and enjoy.’ Jane
